Chicago's Lupe Fiasco recently spoke to Billboard.com and explained his latest album will actually be releasing in November, and also spoke on the formation of CRS, a group composed of Lupe, Kanye West, and Pharrell. |

In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Chicago native and rap superstar Lupe Fiasco spoke on his upcoming album "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool," and explained that the album has in fact been pushed back from a October 2007 release date to November 20, 2007. The album has yet to be completed, as Lupe explained he is still in the studio working on completing his latest project.
In related news, Lupe did mention the possible formation of CRS, a group composed of himself, Kanye West, and Pharrell from the Neptunes. The "group" first made headlines with the release of "US Placers," and continued to propel rumors and discussions regarding CRS after Lupe had mentioned the formation of CRS in a previous interview with Billboard.com. Lupe now explains the current situation regarding CRS: "Now [our labels are] working it out. Whoever is going to pay is going to pay a whole hell of a lot.
Everybody is excited, [but] 'Us Placers' is the only record we have."
In a surprising statement however, Lupe did reveal his plans for the future, explaining why his future in the music industry was questionable: "I'm just wearing down. I'm never doing mixtapes again,
not even Internet ones. My whole energy for making hip-hop music is
slowing down. I've been doing it for seven years. I still don't think I'm famous. I'll do what I have to do to promote my next album, but I'm
not enthused about doing seven albums. I'll do my three, and then I am
going to keep moving to the next phase of life and maybe grow trees."
