India's Top 5 Highest Earning Films for 2007

HHPulse got a hold of the top 5 movies to come out of India within the past 1 month and half, and with those movies we present the calculated gross revenues each movie pulled in up until today.

The top 5, most recent, highest earning movies to come out of India are as follows (Earnings are listed in Rupees):

1.  Jhoom Barabar Jhoom - 1 week - 9,60,07,192 (Weekly) - 9,60,07,192 (Total)

2.  Cheeni Kum - 4 weeks - 77,95,915 (Weekly) - 8,91,18,322 (Total)

3.  Shootout At Lokhandwala - 4 weeks - 65,80,724 (Weekly) - 14,18,35,861 (Total)

4.  Life in a Metro - 6 weeks - 31,53,134 (Weekly) - 14,88,87,607 (Total)

5.  Fool N Final - 3 weeks - 27,57,373 (Weekly) - 5,89,04,208 (Total)

Although "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" made high earnings during its first week in release, the film has already been dubbed an industry flop throughout most of India, while the film "Cheeni Kum," has received warm reviews.
