Man Utd identify big-money ‘world leading’ Andre Onana

Image
Manchester United are strongly considering a summer move for Lucas Chevalier after learning how much they will need to pay for the Lille goalkeeper and with the Red Devils now aware of the two reasons why they can feel optimistic about securing his signing. It’s been a tough first few months at the helm for new manager Ruben Amorim, who has learned very quickly that the Manchester United he inherited from Erik ten Hag needs serious surgery if they are to challenge for the game’s very top honours again. However, Thursday night’s thumping win over Real Sociedad moved the Red Devils into the Europa League quarter-finals and revved up hopes that the 2024/25 campaign could at least end on a high note. Even so, Amorim knows a big summer lies ahead and, alongside technical director Jason Wilcox and director or recruitment Christopher Vivell, plenty of tough decisions over the make-up of their squad for next season lie ahead. One of those positions now very much under threat is in goal....

Instead, Luis Enrique's men were 4-0 up against Lille before half-time and cruised to a victory. But sitting back, speculating, or changing how we pl...

Arsenal would consider Gabriel Martinelli sale on one condition

Image
Arsenal would consider selling Gabriel Martinelli if they received an offer deemed to be in excess of his market value, a report has claimed. 23-year-old Martinelli and fellow winger Leandro Trossard have been touted as players Arsenal could axe this summer in a bid to raise money for other reinforcements. Mikel Arteta is currently without a recognised centre forward – Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are both out injured for the remainder of the season – and they have failed to score in their last two Premier League games, dropping points against West Ham United and Nottingham Forest at just the wrong time. Liverpool are now overwhelming favourites to win the title in Arne Slot's first season in charge, extending Arsenal's wait for a Premier League crown to 21 years in the process. A significant amount of money has already been invested into Arsenal's squad but further additions appear to be necessary if Arteta is to have enough quality to get the Gunners over the line. Sig...
